Project Overview
Create an 8.5 x 11 inches infographic on three main graphic design employers: In-House Creative Department, Outside Consultancy, and Independent Freelancer. As part of the infographic, you will need to display the advantages and disadvantages of each employer as well as their focus within the design industry (i.e., what functions and jobs they perform on a daily basis). You will need to conduct research on what these employers do within the industry as well as find out the advantages and disadvantages a designer would encounter if working for that type of employer.

Summary
The infographic must have the advantages and disadvantages of In-House Creative Department, Outside Consultancy, and Independent Freelancer and their primary focus within the design industry. An appropriate visual (image) display must be included to represent the infographic. Color schemes and information overload must be at a minimal.
Design Process
I decided on a minimal visual design when creating this infographic since I wanted to convey a lot of information. I chose an earth-tone color scheme (less than five colors) and applied the same colors to my model which I created using Adobe Illustrator. I initially wanted to have a more custom "graphic designer" text but refrained from doing it because, again, I did not want to overload the design and the message of the infographic.
After researching the various careers in the design industry, I loaded up Adobe InDesign and created my infographic. I placed the images and information inside following the F-layout while making sure that every item in the infographic follows the same ruleset. Lastly, I decided on two serif fonts to ensure that my audience can read the message.
Conclusion
The project was well-praised by my colleagues and professor. I honestly would not want to change anything in this project, aside from maybe redrawing the model. In fact, I stopped myself from doing it and turned it in right away. I believe that any additional images or information would have ruined the infographic and its message.
